Zero inventory, Zero landfill
Because we only make what we sell, we have zero inventory which means we have zero waste. Instead of making stuff and then hoping you'll buy it, we flip the model on it's head – you tell us what you want, and then we make it. Working this way also means that we're able to carry an incredibly large range of fabrics and colours for you to choose from. Win-Win.
Free recycling when you're done
Everyone talks about circularity, but unless your old clothes are made into new clothes, it's not really a circle, is it? We love rental and re-commerce as better options than landfill, but they aren't nearly as good as making new yarn with 50% recycled content from your old clothes like we do.
Free repairs when you're not
Yep, you read that correctly. We'll keep fixing our clothes for as long as you want to keep wearing them. Why? Because for every 9 months we keep wearing the clothes we already own, we reduce their overall carbon footprint by 30% (Wrap, UK).
48% Less Carbon
Our sustainability ethos isn't just a claim. Because we make only what we sell, we have zero overproduction and zero waste. This on-demand system creates only half the carbon emissions per garment compared to the mass-produced fashion industry.
200% carbon offset
There's no getting around the fact that making physical things creates carbon dioxide (CO2e). Generating half the carbon per garment is a great start, but since 2019 we've gone further by offsetting 2 kg CO2e for every 1 kg created. Last year we offset 80,000 kg CO2e in Australian-based sequestration projects. We know that offsets aren't perfect, but as the planet gets hotter every year, this is the least we can do.
