    Why merino wool?

    Often called ‘nature’s tech fabric’, Merino wool has been prized for centuries due to its luxurious softness, natural thermo-regulation to keep you cool in summer and warm in winter, and natural antimicrobial odour-resistance. Australian Merino produces what is regarded as the world’s finest and softest wool.

    No animal cruelty

    Our luxurious 17.5 micron superfine merino wool is harvested from happy sheep near Dubbo (NSW), before being spun in China and knitted in Melbourne to an incredibly soft 150GSM jersey. How do we know the sheep are happy? Because we only use cruelty-free, Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified non-mulesed wool.

    Our Responsible Wool Standard (RWS) certified merino is sourced exclusively from Aussie farms. At 17.5 microns, the superfine grade means your Tee is light and perfect as a merino base layer in winter, and your main shirt in summer.

    Guaranteed PERFECT FIT

    Using our Magic Fit® technology, we custom make every Citizen Wolf garment to fit you by creating a 94% accurate 3D mathematical model of your body. This is used to dynamically generate garment panels for laser cutting and sewing by skilled machinists in Sydney to make your tailored clothes, delivered to your door.

    FAQs

    Not at this grade for an overwhelming majority of people. Our 17.5 micron superfine merino is fine enough to wear against bare skin all day without prickle.

    Far less than cotton. Merino is naturally odour-resistant, so airing it overnight is usually enough. When it does need a wash use a cold, gentle cycle, a lay flat to dry.

    Merino will naturally look twisted when wet as the fibres contract, but will relax and bounce back to normal as it dries.

    Yes, our 150gsm every day weight is light and breathable for all seasons. Merino regulates temperature both ways, wicking moisture when it is warm and insulating when it is cool, which is why it works year-round in Australia.
